Kwon Yekyung 작가는 Ringling College of Art and Design 에서 일러스트를 전공했습니다. 현재 미국 텍사스에서 거주하며 프리랜서 일러스트레이터로 활동하고 있으며, 그녀만의 감성으로 일상에서 느끼는 감정과 생각을 그림으로 기록합니다. 밝고 가벼운 느낌의 그림 스타일과 재밌는 텍스처와 다채로운 색감 조합을 표현합니다. 현재 그림책, 포스터 디자인, 에디토리얼 일러스트, 코믹북 등 다양한 분야에서 일러스트레이션 작업으로 활동하고 있습니다. 

Yekyung Kwon is a freelance illustrator based in Dallas, TX. Graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design for BFA Illustration. Visualize her feelings and thoughts in everyday life with her own style. Loves to draw delightful moods and imagery of affection using bright colors and fun textures. Works on ranges of projects such as picture book, editorial illustration, poster, and comics.

Christmas card Collaboration with Kwon Yekyung, 2020

이번 콜라보 작업은 각자의 캐릭터를 바꿔 이오만의 개성으로 권예경 작가의 노랑 새를, 권예경 작가만의 다채로운 색감으로 

저희 이오 캐릭터를 작업하여 크리스마스 카드를 완성했습니다. 기존의 전형적인 크리스마스 색감을 피하고 각자의 특징을 살린 색채로 빈티지함을 표현했습니다.

 콜라보로 이루어진 크리스마스 카드는 이오 F.W Collection 패키지에 선물로 넣어드립니다. 

Happy eeöo Christmas 🎄

In this collaboration project, illustrator Yekyung Kwon and eeöo worked on Christmas special edition cards using each other’s characters. eeöo draw yekyung’s Yellow birds in its own style and identity, and Yekyung draw eeöo’s characters in her colorful style. We avoided conventional Christmas colors palette and expressed vintage mood with colors that accentuate our characteristics.
