서울디자인페스티벌은 1976년부터 축적되어 온 월간 <디자인>의 콘텐츠와 국내외 디자인분야 네트워크를 기반하여 2002년 처음 개막한 디자인 전문 전시입니다. ‘디자이너 프로모션’을 모토로 디자이너, 디자인 브랜드, 기업들과 함께 국내외 디자인의 동향을 선보이고, 국내 디자인 경쟁력을 강화시키기 위해 기획된 행사로 한국 디자이너들의 세계 진출을 돕고 세계 디자이너들을 국내에 소개하는 교류의 장으로 역할 해 왔습니다.

Seoul Design Festival is a design-specialized exhibition based on contents accumulated by magazine since 1976 and networks of domestic and foreign design industry. The first Seoul Design Festival was held in 2002. Seoul Design Festival is designed to enhance design competitiveness of domestic and foreign brands by showing design trends along with corporate brands with the motto “Designer Promotion.” Also, it has been grown into a place of exchange to support domestic designers’ expansion to the world and introduce world designers to the domestic market.

eeöo 공동 디자이너 Lee가 개인으로 활동하고 있는 AtelierHyungjun은 균형감 있는 곡선의 부드러움을 강조한 실루엣이 인상적인 라인으로 주로 따뜻한 소재인 우드와 고급스러움이 느껴지는 금속을 활용해 화병, 캔들 홀더, 모빌, 트레이 등으로 표현합니다. 그의 인테리어 오브제들은 개인의 공간에 스며들어 따뜻하고 편안한 분위기를 가져올 수 있습니다. 단순하고 절제된 직선, 흐르는 듯 감성적인 곡선의 부드러움으로 모덤함을 표현했습니다.

Lee, co-designer of eeöo, also a personally active in AtelierHyungjun, his own way to convey through silhouettes is just impressive. They are perfectly balanced. In his works, two very different materials are used : wood and metal. They give his context more diversity in color and temperature. Like incense, his works will soak into your personal space slowly and softly.
